The Arc of Schuyler Partners with Office for the Aging for New Congregate Meal Site in Watkins Glen Featured

Schuyler County Office for the Aging and The Arc of Schuyler have partnered to offer a new congregate meal site at Watkins Glen School Apartments. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce was held on October 20. Click here to view the WETM News coverage of the event. Volunteers from The Arc of Schuyler’s Community Prevocational program will staff the meal site every Friday, serving residents of Watkins Glen School apartments and guests. "This is something that we've been working on for a while, we knew that we wanted a congregate meal site in the village of Watkins," Director of the Schuyler County Office for the Aging Tammy White said. "We wanted to open something to the public, so having this partnership between the Watkins Glen School Apartments, The Arc of Schuyler and the Office for the Aging has brought this all to fruition."
