The Franklin Street Gallery will be featured in a short interview on an episode of 'The Senior Notebook' that will air on CBS (WENY) at 6:30am and again at 11:30am. The spot will also appear on ABC at 7:00am and again at 11:30am

Volunteering At The Arc
Do you have a special skill that you would like to share? Please consider sharing it with The Arc of Schuyler! If your talents or skills can enrich the lives of the individuals we serve, please consider volunteering your time. How Does It Work? Volunteers are matched based on interests with adults, children or to help with one of our special events. A member of our staff is assigned to help provide the volunteer with direction and training as needed.
What do I do? Share an interest Be a friend Teach someone something new Learn something new yourself Examples include: Taking someone to church, going to the park, playing cards, sharing your favorite music, going for walks. Or Volunteers are needed to help with dances, Special Olympics, recreational activities, etc.
Why Should I Volunteer? For a sense of accomplishment To experience the gratitude of another person To enjoy the companionship of another person To be involved in your community

The Arc of Schuyler Marched in Albany WATKINS GLEN - Two dozen representatives of The Arc of Schuyler, including people who receive supports, family members, staff and members of The Arc's Board of Directors, joined others from across the state Thursday in Albany for a march celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of NYSARC, Inc. More than 1,500 people participated in the event. |
